My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A volunteer writes:
A good samaritan witnessed Sprig being hit by a car and attended to her while waiting for our care center to rescue her. Sprig has a fractured pelvis. Despite her ordeal, she has been from day one a total sweetheart, gentle, trusting and appreciating all the attention and love she can get. She is a very pretty young gal with an attractive coat and a very sweet looking face. Sprig is very welcoming and tries to get up when someone is at her door. Standing up and walking is still too difficult for her as she needs more "cage rest" to fully heal. She understands and settles for petting, soft and encouraging words. She knows intuitively that we mean well. In a nutshell, Sprig is a lovely young gal, so worth your attention and who is hoping to become your forever best friend once the veterinary team will give her the green light to go home. Sprig is waiting, hopeful, at the Manhattan Care Center.

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

Sprig interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience and demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.
