My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I’m Butters; I am here at Second Chance with my sister and best friend Gracie Mae. I would love to stay with Gracie and us be adopted together but Gracie has this thing called diabetes and the humans give her insulin twice a day. I have Asthma and hyperthyroidism. I get 2 pills every morning and am currently stable on my current meds. Gracie and/or I will need a family who will keep up with our medical care and make sure we get the medicine we need to keep up happy and healthy. We are just over 12 years old. We are both extremely affectionate with people. Due to our age, it would be best if we could go to a calm, quiet home. I do well with dogs and cats who are also calm like I am. I just love to hangout on a heated blanket watching TV with our humans. I absolutely adore being brushed and even love belly rubs. I know taking on seniors can be a lot, especially special needs seniors like Gracie and I but I promise we’re worth it. We’ve been bounced around a lot throughout our life, and we just want somewhere to spend forever. If you’re looking for a super sweet senior, come meet and maybe even Gracie today! You can also apply online to get the process started.
