My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little girl's name rhymes with "toe", and means "butterfly" in Japanese. Miss Cho had 5 kittens while in our care, and they were named after types of butterflies to fit the theme. The name turned out to fit quite well since Cho has shown to be the definition of "social butterfly". She's made friends of all shapes and sizes including people, dogs, other cats, and kittens. There aren't really any creatures on this earth that Cho doesn't mind sharing a space with.

Cho is a one-of-a-kind little oddball of a cat. She's attentive, kind, playful, forgiving, and optimistic. She's become more and more resilient the more changes that are thrown at her. The only time she loses some of her confidence is when it comes to brand new things (like the rest of us). She used to be so scared of dogs and other cats, but now she has had time and the appropriate environment to adjust to everyone’s boisterous personalities and take it all in stride. Not much seems to faze her anymore!

You couldn't get a sweeter girl who will let you know that she loves you every minute of opportunity she gets. Her favorite way to show you is by asking to be held by staring up at you as she gently puts her paws up on your leg (uppies!) or hopping up to curl up in your lap while gently rubbing her face on your hands while flopping around ridiculously. She also loves an intense neck massage. You will know she's truly gone when her tongue starts to stick out and her eyelids droop. She also chirps and meows in greeting in such a characteristic way, and will hop on your back/shoulders if you ignore her for too long and bend over any amount. Her meows are easy to recognize in a chorus of other cat meows. She truly is a one of a kind cat who brings a smile to AWW volunteers every day she's with us.

Once your application has been approved, we will disclose the private address of the Foster who has the animal you're interested in. Our hours are based on our founder's availability, but it truly depends on the foster's schedule. Our fosters are all located in northwestern Wisconsin, and Shelli can be present if requested or she is available if the foster isn't herself.
