My name is Benjamin!

My name is Benjamin and I have special needs but mostly I'm sweet, kind, and love to snuggle. My current family didn't know I was born with neurological damage when they got me and aren't able to care for me the way I need to be cared for. I'm on medicine that helps and I'm mostly potty-trained. I can learn but more slowly than normal dogs and I do give it my very best try. I'm most comfortable at home but short walks with a halter are ok and I'm good at following off leash at the park. Some dogs needs lots of exercise every day but I only need a little, and not every day. I really just want to be with someone I know and don't want to be alone so if you work from home or are retired, I would be perfect for you! It would make me happy if I could have a dog sibling and I like cats too but mostly I love the people in my life. I am friendly with everyone once I feel comfortable and I am a simple soul who just wants to cuddle and be with my family. I am a very good boy.
