My name is Sophia!

Hi! I'm Sophia! I am a female approximately 1 to 3 year old, Pyr mix that weighs around 77 Lbs. I was found off FM 1141 and Stodghill on 08/28/2024 and never reclaimed. So now I am available for adoption and looking for a family to love me FUR-ever! I am a sweet girl who enjoys going on leisurely walks. I am gentle on a leash and like to try and catch bugs in the air and chase butterflies. If you have another dog in the home a meet and greet is suggested prior to adoption to ensure we play well together, and that they will accept a new sibling into the home. As a Great Pyrenees mix I have a boisterous bark, but I am a gentle giant who is full of quirks and a sense of humor. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, boosters to date and heartworm negative. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
