Hello, my name is Rogue! I’m a very happy, goofy, and outgoing gal ready to find a home to call my own… Could that be you?!

I’m very a playful and quirky pup, great with people and dogs, including kids! I’ve never met a cat before, but with time and training, I bet we’d get along swell. I’m a lap dog though and through; if you’re looking for a dedicated cuddle buddy, I’m the gal for you! Snuggles are the name of my game…. Cuddles on the couch? Yes please! I mean, is there anything better? 🥰

I’m also very food motivated, which has been a great help with my training. I’m both super sensitive and eager to please, making me a dream when it comes to any training needs! I am housetrained and crate trained, and I have my basic obedience training down pat, too. I’m also good both on and off leash!

Sadly, I’ve already endured a lot in my short life… Rescued as a puppy from Six Nations Reserve, I spent the first year of my life with my rescuer in her one-room apartment in Hamilton. Unfortunately, due to no fault of her own, the amazing woman who rescued me was experiencing some severe health issues, and couldn’t care for me long-term. As such, I spent much of my first year in a very small apartment, completely unable to experience the outside world. As I’m sure you can imagine, this took a toll on me…

However, after about a year of living this way, never experiencing the outdoors even just for a pee break, thankfully my story changed for the better! My rescuer realized that this was no life for me, and contacted my current foster mom in the hopes she could help me find an amazing family and furever home to call my own. After a few months to help me find my feet (literally, I didn’t even know how to run, zoomie, or play without my legs getting tangled and falling over!) I am confident I’m ready for the next step— finding a furever family of my very own. ❤️

I’ve been in foster at a doggy daycare for a bit now, and it’s been so amazing for both my comfort and my confidence… Previously a scared, uncertain, and anxious dog, these days, I’m so incredibly happy, playful, and outgoing! I’m great with other dogs, of all shapes and sizes. I’m a model guest at my doggy daycare foster home; my foster family adores me. I’m great with people, including kids. Sometimes I’m a little uncertain of men, but once I know I can trust you, I’m all happy wiggles and kisses!

I’m a medium energy dog who loves to adventure, but also loves to just veg on the couch with my foster family, soaking up the snuggles and unconditional love. When outdoors, I love to run, play, wrestle with friends, and swim for toys thrown in the water. When indoors, I love to snuggle up on someone’s lap and just snooze the day away… If you’re looking for the perfect, chill cottage dog or adventure companion, I’m definitely the dog for you!
