It was Mother's Day when a sick cat was found in distress. She was brought into a local cat clinic along with her newly born kittens that had been found in a nearby pile. The mother cat was very ill and unable to produce milk, so the kittens were immediately brought to a foster. Unfortunately, most of the kittens were undeveloped and did not make it, but with some intensive care from his foster family, Donny was able to survive. Garfield's journey began as a tiny bottle baby surrendered to a shelter when he needed care the most. We knew Donny needed a friend and Garfield was just the purrfect kitten to be his playmate.
Don't let their rough starts fool you: these kittens have grown into social butterflies, brimming with confidence and friendliness. Donny and Garfield are little socialites in fur coats! Both thrive on human interaction and each has a magnetic personality that draws you in. Their ideal home is one filled with love, laughter, and plenty of playtime. They promise to fill your days with joy, your nights with cuddles, and your life with the friendship that only a special feline companion can offer. Donny and Garfield's playful antics are a delight to watch and their energy is infectious. Whether they are chasing after a toy mouse or pouncing on a feather wand, they are always up for a game. ---Donny is loving, kind and gentle. He has a wonderful purr, loves to be held, and particularly loves wet food. He takes a bit of a back seat when playing, waiting patiently for his turn. ---Garfield is the type of kitten who would choose a warm lap and gentle strokes over a meal any day. His affectionate nature makes him the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a cat with a strong desire for companionship. ---Donny and Garfield are a perfect pair with great balancing energy. They MUST be adopted together.
The boys love each other and should do well with other welcoming kitties. They have seen dogs recently, and though not fully comfortable yet they would likely adapt to life with a cat-friendly pooch. Respectful children are welcome.
