Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This big love is Rufus, a happy-go-lucky yellow lab who is just glad to be invited to the party! This sweetie was picked up as a stray on a deserted hiking trail in Southern CA and has some scars on his head that indicate he’s likely been through some challenging stuff.
Rufus caught a one-way flight up to Lily’s and hasn’t looked back! He has been a trusting, sweet and very good boy throughout all of the changes in his life. Understandably, he was a bit nervous upon arriving to Lily’s but in less than an hour, he was making friends and asking for pets. And we have been more than happy to oblige! He loves human attention and prefers to be near his people. His big brown eyes will surely capture and melt your heart!
Rufus is a big, strong boy who is always excited to go out on walks, but could use some reminders on leash etiquette and manners. We have already seen improvements since his time at Lily’s so we’re very encouraged he will be walking like a dream in no time. Rufus is ready to find his new forever family who can make him feel safe and loved for the rest of his days!
