In Transformers, Optimus Prime is the supreme robot commander of the Autobots in their fight against the Decepticons. Our Optimus is no robot, but he’s more than ready to transform from shelter pup to family member! Optimus is a gentle, sensitive boy who needs a little bit of time to build confidence and trust. Once he does, he’s devoted for life- a gentle, calm dog who wants nothing more than to sit by your side and enjoy gentle affection. And treats- he loves those too and takes them politely and gently from your hand.

Optimus shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent and easygoing overall when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Optimus would love to find a calm home where he can decompress from the stressful shelter and a family who will go at his pace while he settles in. Please ask about Optimus today!

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Mon - Tues: 12-7pm Wed - 1:30-7pm Thurs - Fri: 12-7pm Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm Must be checked in 45 minutes before close

2.
Meet the Pet

Once you have decided which pets you are interested in, sign in for an adoption counselor who will guide you through the adoption process.

3.
Take the Pet Home

Cats must leave in a carrier and dogs must leave in a carrier or on leash. We do have these available for purchase in our lobby store.

Additional adoption info

Year-Round Adoption Fees:
• Puppies and kittens less than 4 months old $50
• Adult dogs and cats $30
• A standard $20 dog license fee may apply
• Pets who have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a family and pets over 5 years old $0 - Fee Waived!

Every adoption includes:
• Spay or neuter surgery
• First Vaccinations
• Microchip
• Vet visit certificate
• Pet insurance
