My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans.

I'll need daily interaction with you as I get used to my new life.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

Phoebe interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. We recommend that she go to a home with adopters with cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in rough play, overstimulation, and inappropriate elimination.

A volunteer writes: Phoebe has really shown us so much since being with us at the Care Center and it's such a joy. Front and center with her belly up and paws happily splayed on her favorite scratching post, Phoebe's the first to ask if you want to come over and hang out. Coming right to the front to lean half her little cat self into my arms, she cuddled, nuzzled, and played with equal enthusiasm. She's been described as a bold, fearless, and independent kitty, which happen to be my dream adjectives. We know that Phoebe loves to play and we've heard that comes when called and does other things as she sees fit - cuddling and snacking, purring and stretching. Anyone who marches to the beat of their own drum is sure to be a winner and Phoebe is no exception.
