My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Goldman. I`m a very cute boy if I do say so myself, but I`m still very scared and unsure of everything. I will need a quiet home with people who understand that I will need lots of time and patience to become comfortable. Will you help me come out of my shell?

If you are interested in meeting me, call TCRAS at 719-686-7707 to set up an appointment!

Additional adoption info

To adopt:
All adoptions must be done in person. Visit the shelter to meet the adoptable animals you would like to consider. TCRAS is open 6 days a week, please see hours of operation.

Your visit with each animal will be assisted by a trained adoption specialist to answer questions, address concerns and to help you decide if the animal is a good fit for your home environment (i.e. children, other pets, specific needs, etc). You can also bring in your current pets to do a visitation (this may be required with certain animals).

More about this shelter

In the year 2000, the Teller County Regional Animal Shelter (TCRAS) was formed and continued under this leadership to the present day. Our shelter is a small, rural shelter. Every year, over 800 lost, abandoned, neglected, or homeless dogs and cats get assistance from TCRAS. We do not euthanize for time or space.
