My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Larsen is a 5-year-old cat with a gentle heart and a history of resilience, found outside on his own. Although he loves affection, he can get a bit overstimulated with fast pets, so slow strokes are the way to his heart especially if you avoid his tummy. He enjoys being held and cuddled, though only in short bursts before he's ready to explore or stretch out. Occasionally, Larsen will give a gentle love bite to show his excitement. He has a longing for companionship and often watches other cats, clearly wanting a friend to play and bond with. With his sweet personality and love of company, Larsen would do wonderfully with another cat, making him a fantastic fit for a home looking to add a little more love.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
