Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Milo!
A delightful four-year-old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix from Longwood, FL, who is as charming as he is devoted. With a silky cream-colored coat and soulful, expressive eyes, Milo is the kind of companion who will steal your heart with just one look! Weighing in at a petite 22 pounds, this little guy may be small in size, but he has a huge heart, especially when it comes to his humans.
Milo is the epitome of a loyal companion. If you’re looking for a dog who will be your constant shadow, Milo is your guy! He loves to follow his favorite people around, ensuring that he’s never too far from the action—or a cozy lap to snuggle on. Speaking of snuggling, Milo’s favorite pastime is curling up in blankets, and he’s more than happy to share your bed for a night of peaceful slumber! He’s low-energy, preferring the comforts of home over long hikes, making him the perfect match for someone who enjoys quiet, leisurely days.
Toys are another one of Milo’s great loves, especially anything that squeaks. He can spend hours entertaining himself with his squeaky toys, bringing a smile to anyone watching! Despite his playful nature, Milo also has a sweet, gentle side that comes out when he’s with his favorite people or cuddling up with a feline friend. Yes, you read that right—Milo is very fond of cats and gets along wonderfully with them. However, he’s not as comfortable around other dogs, especially when sharing his space, and may show aggressive behavior. For this reason, Milo would thrive best as the only dog in the home.
Milo is friendly with strangers and well-behaved when left alone for short periods, although he can get a bit antsy. Thunderstorms, fireworks, and the presence of other dogs can make him anxious, so a calm, quiet environment would be ideal for him. He’s house-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations, making him more than ready to settle into a loving home where he can be the center of attention.
Are you ready to welcome Milo into your life? He’s waiting to meet his new family! Contact us today at adopt@joyfulpets.com to meet Milo!
