Meet Kingston. He is a sweet and affectionate 2-year-old Spaniel mix who weighs about 17 lbs. Kingston has a heart full of love for his human!
He adores cuddles, belly rubs, climbing in your lap and gentle walks. He is happiest when he is by your side. Kingston's playful nature and loving personality makes him the perfect dog and one who is always ready to put a smile on your face.
Kingston is great walking on a leash, riding in the car and is fully house trained. While toys aren't his favorite, he loves chewing on a bone. He is currently mastering basic commands like "sit" and is proving to be a quick learner.
Kingston is looking for a dedicated owner to help him navigate his "small dog" issues and work through his separation anxiety. He does well around other dogs and will do well in a home with another older dog to help him learn to share space, or as the only dog. He really is the most lovable little dog and would make for a loyal companion!
If you are interested in adopting Kingston please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.
***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
