My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fairy Godmother - Your Future Best Friend!

Are you ready to add a bundle of joy and energy to your life? Look no further than Fairy Godmother, our charming 6-month-old Boxer mix! This playful pup is full of love and has a heart as big as her enthusiasm.

Fairy Godmother is a goofy and affectionate little girl who adores being around people. She might be a bit timid when it comes to leash walking right now, but with your patience and care, she'll soon be strutting her stuff with confidence. Her playful nature shines through as she chases squeaky toys, wrestles with her furry friend Fiona, and snuggles up for cozy nap times.

Fairy Godmother has a delightful habit of tilting her head in curiosity and a wagging tail that's always in motion. She's eager to learn and grow, so she'll need some basic training and potty training to help her become the best pup she can be. Chew toys are a must to encourage proper chewing habits, and socializing her with different people and environments will ensure she blossoms into a well-rounded adult dog.

If you're ready for a new best friend who will fill your days with joy, laughter, and love, Fairy Godmother is waiting for you! Come meet her and see how this little goofball can light up your life.

Ready to make Fairy Godmother a part of your family? Contact us today to learn more about adopting this lovable pup!
If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Sunday, that's right we are open all days of the week!

A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Before you go searching for free puppies or puppies for sale, check your local Shelters for available dogs and puppies that have been vetted and are ready to go home. Adopt Don't Shop.
