HI - I'M DUNE, and I'm a model canine citizen! I'm a sweet and gentle 2-year-old male shepherd mix pup (possibly part Great Dane or another large breed) in need of a new home! I weigh about 70 lbs. I'm currently in a foster home, where I spend my days with another dog and cat! I was rescued from a shelter as a puppy, and grew up being very social. I love people and do great with other dogs of all sizes. I know basic commands and walk well on a leash. I would do best with an active and strong person, people, or family with older kids who can give me the exercise and attention I so rightly deserve. Please email for an application.

We have an extensive application and spend time with potential applicants to make sure we match people with the right dogs. We also have a 100% return policy as we understand sometimes adoptions just do not work out.

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. is an active 501(c)(3) animal rescue based in Ventura, Calif. We rescue dogs and cats primarily from overcrowded California shelters, and do our best to find wonderful homes for them. We also take in many owner surrenders every year. We adopt dogs to people in many states, and have a high success rate with our adoptions. We do our best to match people with the right dogs.
