My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Sassy Pants is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee!**

Age: 4 years
Weight: 5.08 kg

If there's one cat that lives up to her name, it's Sassy Pants. Sassy Pants came into our care through no fault of her own, and made it very clear that she was not our biggest fan. However, with a little bit of time and patience, Sassy has warmed up significantly and is starting to show off her affectionate side! She loves rubbing up against her kennel door to reel you in for pets, and then purring her heart away in enjoyment. This feisty feline is best suited for an adult-only home with previous cat experience as it will be very important to read her body language! We love her and all her quirks, and we're sure you will, too.

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
