My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maeve is vocal, sweet, and fiercely independent! She's affectionate when she wants to be, greeting you at the door and asking for snuggles. However, the snuggles must be on her terms, and her fluffy belly is off limits! She's established a lot of routines in her foster home that have successfully pulled her out of her shell and allowed her personality to shine!

Maeve is very food motivated. Treats are recommended for her to tolerate all of her least favourite activities: cutting her nails, brushing, and seeing you leave the house. Thankfully, when Maeve gets treats, she always reciprocates the love with a boop and a kiss. Maeve also loves to play fetch! Her favourite toy is the green Starbucks drink stoppers. She can play fetch with these for hours! Maeve's intelligence means that treats need to be kept high up in a cupboard. If not, she will steal them, and either try to rip the bag open or bring it to you, probably while you are sleeping, and drop the bag on your face for treat distribution!

Maeve's former owner left several toys and even a window ledge for her adopter to take home. In the right hands, holding many treats, Maeve should come around quickly, and win you over as you earn her trust! If you're willing to give a home to this sweet and sassy kitty, please contact Team Cat Rescue today!
