This is a story that could have ended tragically but thankfully it ended very happily. We got a call from Animal Control asking us if we could take in an emergency. Luna's owner brought her to Animal Control because she knew that Luna was in trouble. She hadn't been spayed and her owner just let her roam free. Well, she had gotten pregnant by a big dog which is very dangerous for a tiny little Chihuahua. As she began to give birth, she had two still born puppies and then two live puppies. There was one more stuck in the birth canal and Luna just could not push him out. We took her in immediately and off to the emergency clinic we went. Thankfully with the help of our vet pulling and Luna still trying to push him out, they were able to get the baby out who had already passed. Another hour or so and Luna would have died. Luna is the sweetest, most lovable little girl that you will ever meet. She is wonderful with children, never met a stranger and she's young and healthy. She has been spayed, is heart worm negative, fully vaccinated and ready for immediate adoption. She will brighten up your life, we promise!!
