Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Butch is a big boy with a sweet personality who's looking for someone to help him feel safe and loved. He may start off a bit shy, but with a soft voice and a gentle touch, he quickly warms up and gives a few tail wags!
On walks, Butch is easygoing. He can be a little nervous around sudden noises or new objects, but he's very tolerant and loves gentle pets and cuddles once he feels comfortable.
While he is still figuring out playtime (all braun, less brain) he does perk up when he hears a squeaky toy.
If you're ready to give Butch the loving home he deserves, come meet this goofy boy today!

Behavioral notes:
Per staff 8/31: The sweetest, most gentle boy! Butch was more excited to come out of kennel today and started wagging his tail as soon as I approached with my leash. Once outside, he walked with a low tail, but it perked up when we entered the yard. He was more social with handlers today and allowed all petting. Walks very nicely on leash
Per staff 8/30: Such a sweet boy! Was laying in his bed when approached and allowed leashing but was a little nervous. He walked very nicely on leash, walked passed other dogs (big and small) and did not show any interest. Once in the yard, he had his tail between his legs and was more shy. Allowed petting from handlers, but did not actively solicit attention. Used the bathroom and seems to be housebroken. Such a gentle guy!
8/28/24 staff noted: Very friendly and walks excellent on a leash
Medical notes:
During an intake exam on 8/28, staff found Butch in good general health.
