My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Willy: A True Survivor with a Heart Full of Joy! ?

Willy’s story is nothing short of remarkable. This brave little fighter was rescued in the nick of time, thanks to the heroic actions of his two sisters who alerted passersby to his dire condition. Found with severe wounds and completely shut down, Willy’s journey to recovery has been a testament to his resilience and will to live. After receiving the care he so desperately needed and spending time in a loving foster home, Willy is now ready to find his forever family.

Full of energy and love, Willy’s personality shines brightly every day. He’s a spunky, playful, and affectionate pup who’s eager to share his joy with everyone he meets. His resilience is truly inspiring, and he’s always ready to show off his silly, fun-loving side. Willy is incredibly smart and responsive, especially when treats are involved. He’s quick to learn new tricks and loves to show them off. Playtime is his favorite—whether he’s chasing balls at the park or rolling around in the grass, Willy’s enthusiasm is contagious. He also enjoys his quiet moments, cooling off with ice cubes or happily gnawing on a deer antler.

While Willy is still warming up to his foster siblings, he’s making great progress with neutral walks and brief, positive interactions with other dogs. His journey from a heartbreaking start to a hopeful future is a powerful reminder of the strength of the canine spirit. Willy is now looking for a home where he can continue to thrive and share his boundless love. If you’re ready to open your heart to a resilient, joyful companion, Willy is ready to fill your life with love and laughter.

Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
