Meet Frankie Rose-AA Named Frankie by the local business where she as found and middle name Rose to add a little feminism to her name. It also resembles her life, a thorny rough start with a beautiful blossom waiting to bloom in the right environment. Frankie first approached her foster at a Dollar General Parking lot while traveling. Unlike most feral cats she was full of love and allowed petting and head-butting and gave loud purrs. It was noticed that she was nursing at the time and the babies were nowhere to be found so Mama Frankie Rose had to stay behind until the babies could be found. A month later after phone conversations with the local business where she hung out, the foster was able to trap Frankie Rose and her two babies! She and her babies are very loving despite living behind a/c units at abandoned businesses. Frankie seems content with the indoor life, enjoying soft cat beds and greeting her foster for loving pets. She has tested negative, been dewormed, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Frankie Rose is now ready to settle in for the quiet life and rest in the comfort of a calm, quiet, and loving home with a patient owner who will allow her blossom in her time. She has made great strides in just a few months with her foster. It is unknown if Frankie might work well with other cats and we believe it would be best if she could be the only furry pet or with very gentle friendly pets so she can focus on letting go of the past and blossoming to her full potential. She is coming from a life on the streets in a feral atmosphere of survival and for now she needs to learn what it means to be loved. Her foster has seen her blossom so much already with love and a healthy diet.
Frankie Rose loves to be petted and stroked and to have her ears rubbed and chin scratched. She is not yet keen on being picked up but she does enjoy being loved on! She will come to you and make biscuits and purr while you pet her. She will get in her foster's lap and allow petting while she purrs!! She is definitely comfortable being an indoor cat and seems to enjoy her rest and feeling safe. She loves to play with a stuffed flying squirrel and a glove and has a great time tackling those!
Shows interest in her foster's cats and does not hiss or act aggressively through a glass window. She may blend well but the opportunity has not yet been offered to her.
If you think you might just be that special someone Frankie Rose is looking for please reach out. We will be carefully selecting her future home as she will require a special situation to provide her the patience and love she needs to blossom! Thanks for considering Frankie Rose! * She will not be at adoption events due to her special situation*. Please contact IMON via the application link to inquire about more details or ask questions.
