Meet Bandit, a young feline full of life and boundless energy.
He's a friendly soul, always ready to engage in playful antics, and equally eager for a cuddle when the day winds down. Bandit will curl up next to you when he is sleepy and happily accept pets.
Bandit's athletic prowess and speed are truly remarkable, he loves to track and chase toys! He is very fast! His curiosity knows no bounds, making every day an adventure.
Bandit is a loving and social guy. He runs out to greet you, and is fast to warm-up to new people. He could be adopted alone or together with his buddy Bessie.
Bandit was found with Bessie in Detroit, on the street where their current foster lives. They were friendly right from the start and eager for pets. Someone had been feeding them but didn't want to adopt or care further for them. They were taken in by their foster and and have been loving indoor life every since.
Bandit's foster mom believes he would likely warm up relatively easily to other pets.
His affectionate nature makes him a perfect companion, and his hunting instincts will keep your home free of unwanted critters.
Adopt Bandit and bring a bundle of joy and companionship into your life.
Bandit is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here or email adopt@ahsem.org
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
