My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellie was a little puppy that was found wandering alone in a neighborhood going house to house living off of scraps to survive. 3 months old, 10 pound Jack Russell Cattle dog mix. Expected to be small/medium when grown. .No one would take her in but eventually a neighbor called animal control and an ACO brought her to the shelter. At the shelter, she was scared and unsure of her surroundings. When it was time for her photos to be taken, she tried to escape back to the streets as that's all she knew. Thankfully the ACOs were able to recapture her and keep her safe until she was pulled for rescue. Now currently in foster care, her fosters say she is the happiest, sweetest girl. It did take her a couple of days for her to warm up and not be hesitant when walking through the threshold of the front doorway. Her foster brother was a big help in getting her to learn how to be a house dog. Coming soon to Massachusetts. Get your application in!!

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers who have volunteered in rescue for almost 10 years. We are so committed to rescue, spay/neuter, medical care for homeless dogs and wanted to make a difference so we started our own non-profit, 501c3, USDA approved rescue in Massachusetts. We work with rescue partners in Texas to address the growing incidence of animal homelessness.
