Roscoe
Terrier mix
Male (neutered)
Approximately 40 lbs.
1 year old
Calling all outdoor adventurers!
Sweet Roscoe, nicknamed “Silly”, is looking for his perfect pal to explore with. Roscoe is an active guy who enjoys long walks at the river, and fetching balls at the beach. He LOVES the water! One of the many benefits of this is that bath time isn’t too challenging.
Roscoe plays hard, but he also loves hard. When he finds his people, he can be a Velcro doggo. Beware of sloppy face kisses!
Roscoe is potty trained and goes out on a schedule. He does amazing in his crate when his people aren’t home, and sleeps without a peep in there at night. Sometimes, he even opts to take his own timeouts in his crate with a bone or a chew toy.
Roscoe’s herding instincts are strong, so we are working on his manners with jumping and nibbling (non-aggressive); he is doing fantastic with reminders, as he is SO trainable and a smart cookie . Because of this, he might do best in a home with school-age children and older, or in a home with adults only. Roscoe is an A+ student. He will impress his prospective adopters with his ability to sit, shake, and lay down on command; he also will STAY when told for quite a long distance, and come when given permission.
Roscoe’s foster mom’s favorite things about him are his handsome face, his intelligence, and the pure joy he exudes when he gets a chance to take a swim
If you are interested in Roscoe, please apply at the adoption link in the comments below or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved.
