My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calista is a fun loving 6 month old Aussie/Border Collie mix puppy that's weighs 28 pounds and is part of a trio of abandoned girl pups.
She and her sisters were thrown out of a truck on a country road and while chasing after the truck,, one was immediately hit - no one stopped. A nice couple picked them up and got them to safety and are committed, with Critter Cavalry's help,  to finding them homes.
Calista is a very sweet and happy girl who loves to play on her foster home's property with wide open puppy energy, passion and joy. She is great with dogs, cats and loves children… she needs a home that she can fill with her love!  She is destined to be a 40 to 45 lb girl

Who speak to you everyday with her beautiful blue eyes and infectious smile. If you're looking for a truly loving and happy puppy,  then Calista is your next forever best friend and canine companion. Please write to us at Critter Cavalry at ccrnewengland@gmail.com

PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
