Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you a person who likes to test your luck? Well I promise that this guy will not be a "bust". Black Jack is a total ladies man that loves to eat, sleep, and snuggle. Black Jack is a pretty affectionate guy. Black Jack is wonderful with other cats of all ages. Black Jack's luck ran out when his people left him and 15+ kittens/cats behind when they moved. Despite living outside, what is likely to be his whole life, he's done wonderful using the bathroom in his litterbox.
Black Jack has been neutered, fully vaccinated, and is FIV positive.
What is FIV?
Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is a virus specific to the cat family. It is similar to HIV (human immunodeficiency virus, the cause of AIDS in people) in that it attacks and weakens the immune system and there is no cure. FIV was first recognized in the mid-1980s and has been found in cats worldwide. Although widespread, it is not a common infection in cats. Only 1-5% of cats show evidence of exposure to the virus. There are different strains of FIV, and some seem more harmful than others.
Black Jack will need to be a single cat home, or in a home with other FIV positive cats.
