My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Spooky! I was brought in by my local Animal Control with my friend Cricket. My history is a mystery and my friends are still getting to know me. They don`t know how I do with kids or cats but I do very well with other dogs, although I am touchy with how I do with some female dogs. I am a very energetic puppy and I`ll need someone to teach me a few things but I am a very outgoing dog and I love to make friends and explore as much as I can. I will need to have a way to get rid of all of my energy everyday so please give me a nice backyard! I am so excited to learn who I get to spend furever with! Please make sure that you have the proper time space and resources to care for me for the rest of my life.

More about this shelter

Companions Animal Center is a non-profit organization funded exclusively by donations and grants. Every day we receive numerous homeless animals. We shelter, feed, and provide medical care for these animals while searching for loving homes for them.

As a "No-Kill" shelter, animals who are in our facility do not face a "be adopted quick or else" ultimatum but rather are cared for until they can be placed.

Our Mission - is to focus all of our efforts and resources toward directly benefiting the quality of life for all abandoned or mistreated pets with the ultimate goal of finding each one a loving household in which to share their lives.
