My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jelly Belly is a beautiful female Lynx Point Siamese mix who has had a tough start in life. She came to us after being rescued from an overcrowded cat-hoarding situation with over 45 other cats. Because of her past, she is understandably nervous and scared here at the shelter.

Jelly Belly is looking for a special home that will understand her boundaries and be patient with her as she learns to trust again. She is wary of being touched and prefers to keep her paws on the floor, so she'll need someone who can offer her love and support while respecting her space. With time, patience, and gentle encouragement, she has the potential to blossom into a more confident and loving companion.

If you have a quiet home and the heart to help Jelly Belly feel safe and cherished, she could be the perfect cat for you. Are you ready to be the one to show her what it means to be truly loved?

Stop in and meet Jelly Belly in person during our adoption hours. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you.

Our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
