Meet Granger, a gentle soul who has known both heartache and hope. Abandoned by the only family he’s ever known, Granger was left to face the scorching August heat alone, with no understanding of why he was cast aside. When he first arrived at our rescue, he was a shadow of his former self – lost, frightened, and reluctant to eat, often crying himself to sleep. Day after day, he would gaze out the window, hoping to see the faces of those who had left him behind. But through the patience and love of his foster family, Granger’s spirit began to mend. Gradually, his sad eyes softened, and his tail, once still, began to wag with cautious hope. He started to trust again, finding comfort in the new love and care he received.
Granger, estimated to be around seven years old, is a strikingly handsome dog with a coat of bold black and white and tall, pointed ears that frame his expressive face. His white-tipped tail is as charming as his personality, and he revels in lounging in sunny spots or finding cool retreats in the shade.
If you enjoy the quiet comfort of home and the simple joys of naps, Granger is the
perfect companion for you. His loving gaze and endearing smile will warm your heart, and his gentle nature makes him a wonderful friend to people and other pets alike.
Currently, he shares his foster home (in Houston) with two dogs, three cats, and three young children, and he gets along beautifully with everyone.
