Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We were notified by one of our area shelters in North-east Houston of an adorable scruffy girl that was found wandering the streets. We were sent a picture of her as well as a preliminary temperament test and we immediately knew this sweetheart had to be given a second chance at happiness. Broom, aka "Honey Boo Boo," has been in our rescue for several weeks now and is currently living in a foster home that she shares with several other dogs. She is thriving and is now ready to find her perfect family. Here is what we know about Broom:
*Terrier mix, possibly Lhasa Apso and Norfolk Terrier
*Approximately 2 years old
*Currently weighs 26 lbs
*Recently spayed
*Up to date on her vaccinations
*Microchipped
*Heartworm negative
*LOVES dogs and loves to play!
*Outgoing personality but very easy going with changes to her routine
*People friendly...hasn't met a "stranger" yet :)
*Kennel trained
*House trained
*Rides well in a car
Broom has a wonderful temperament. She continually makes her foster mom laugh with her funny demeanor and sweet nature. As most terriers are, Broom is confident, curious, playful, affectionate, lively and full of personality. She would do best in a home that has another dog for her to play with as well as an active family to spend time with her outdoors (weather permitting). Due to Broom's longer coat, she will need regular grooming.
If you are looking for a small/medium dog who will add laughter and smiles to your life, look no further than this ridiculously cute girl, Broom.
*If you are seeing this post, Broom is currently available and we are actively reviewing applications.
