Meet little miss Peanut!

This lady is approaching six years young and would love a patient, relaxing home where she can be doted on and spend the rest of her days in comfortably. Peanut previously lived with another female guinea pig and wouldn't be opposed to making another senior, female guinea pig friend again through the proper bonding process. She adores spending her time burrowing in her hay and eating freshly prepared salads of healthy greens, and cucumbers seem to be her favorite. Due to her age and body condition, we are ideally looking for a guinea pig savvy family for her to join!

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
