Zoey is a 5-year-old terrier mix weighing 37 pounds, who is currently seeking a second chance after being surrendered to a kill shelter when her family moved. Although she is understandably nervous about her new surroundings, she is a well-rounded dog with a gentle temperament. Her previous owners reported that Zoey is housebroken and gets along well with dogs, kids, cats, and even livestock. Despite the upheaval in her life, her sweet eyes reflect a longing for the warmth and love of a home she once knew. Zoey is ready to bring joy and companionship to a family willing to help her heal and thrive.
