He is a ladies man! He likes just about anyone he’s come across but the ladies especially. He does well outside of the kennel when I am home, I have not felt comfortable enough to do so while I am at work just yet but he has shown no signs of destruction so far. He knows a few tricks (sit, down, paw/shake, kennel, let go) and loves to play tug of war and fetch. He tugs on the leash quite a bit until after he’s gone to the bathroom then he is an angel.
Rupert does really well in the home with my female dog but when I’ve taken him on walks he is very reactive to other dogs. I wouldn’t say he needs to be an only dog, but I would avoid male dogs unless they are familiar with handling a reactive dog. Otherwise I think he would do fine with a more submissive docile female. He hasn’t attacked my cat but has trotted after him curiously, my cat isn’t too fond of him just yet. But I haven’t seen any aggression from him towards the cat this far.
He is just a big goofball with his tongue hanging out to the side 9/10 time. I think he would make an amazing family dog.
