My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Snowflake, and I'm a 5-month-old Siberian Husky mix. I'm a sweet, playful boy who loves to give kisses and snuggle with my humans. I'm always up for a good time, especially when it involves chew toys or rope toys-tug-of-war is one of my favorite games!

I also do really well in the car, so if you're someone who likes road trips or outdoor adventures, I'd love to tag along. I'm great on a leash and enjoy my walks, and I get along well with men. I might need some basic training to help me become the best dog I can be, but I promise I'm eager to learn.

I do well in a fenced yard, and I'm generally a quiet pup. As for house training and crate training, I'm getting there-I'm partially house-trained and partially crate-trained. With a little patience and consistency, I'll get it down in no time!

If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who's always ready to play and give kisses, I'd love to meet you!

This pet has been spayed, microchipped and is current on vaccinations. She is ready to join your forever home today!

More about this shelter

West Valley Humane Society is an open-admission animal shelter in Southern Idaho. Serving all of Canyon County, and surrounding areas. We take in the stray, surrendered, abandoned, neglected animals in our community. In 2017, we took in 7,778 animals. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance.

We contract with the cities of Nampa, Caldwell and Canyon County to house stray and owner surrender animals that their ACO's, or the general public, bring to us.
