Bentley is a delightful 9-month-old pup who is still very much a baby in the eyes of his foster mom, though he fancies himself a big boy already. This country dog has recently made the transition to city living, and the new sights, sounds, and experiences have provided an exciting adventure for the young canine.
Despite the change of scenery, Bentley has adapted remarkably well, quickly picking up on good manners like sitting patiently for treats and meals, and appearing to be nearly potty trained already. His foster family has been impressed by his eagerness to learn and his overall obedience.
At around 30 pounds, Bentley is a medium-sized pup who adores playtime, especially energetic games of tug-of-war with his favorite toys. Though he is still a bit mouthy as he continues teething, Bentley would do best in a home with older, more experienced children who can give him the gentle guidance he needs.
When he's not zipping around the house in a frenzy of joyful "zoomies," Bentley loves nothing more than cozying up next to his humans to watch a movie, soaking up all the affection and cuddles he can get.
With his sweet, endearing personality, Bentley is truly the total package - a cuddly, playful pup who is sure to steal the hearts of any family lucky enough to welcome him into their home.

The Bastrop Animal Control organization became a reality in 1998. We've grown since then and continue to do so as Bastrop County grows. Currently, we have 3 separate buildings containing a total of 90 large indoor/outdoor kennels and 8 play yards. We have 30 indoor cat kennels. We also have a 3 room cattery, that enables cats to live together in colony type environments until they find their forever home. If you have ever worked with or adopted a shelter pet, you know just how much they crave the attention and love we and our volunteers can provide and their eternal gratitude when they find their forever home at last.
