My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roo has had a short but tough life. Born in the city shelter, adopted, and surrendered to no fault of her own or her previous owner. Crisis happens at any moment and that’s why SOAR exists.

Roo is quite the looker with her perfectly marbled, brindle coat and touches of white throughout. Roo is still in a important stage in life and she’s learning what it’s like to be a dog, a shelter environment is not the best place to do that. While she got a later start then some, she’s excelling with training and shaping up to be a great dog.

Roo is dog and child friendly, and we believe she’d be fine with cats. She’s also crate trained, and house trained with a regular routine. She enjoys hikes, puppy play dates, and to be your patio companion on Taco Tuesdays at a local Mexican joint.

Our fees vary per animal, but we require vet and personal references and we conduct home visits for each dog.
