For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
From his foster: Skedaddle is a fun-loving and agreeable dude. He likes being a part of the action. He's starting to figure out how to be a lap cat. He may cuddle for 10 to 20 minutes before finding another cozy spot nearby. Instead of sleeping with you, he likes to say goodnight and then retire to a nearby chair to sleep.
Skedaddle enjoys when his person teleworks, and he has an uncanny ability to step on the keyboard regardless of where it is set and how well it is hidden.
Skedaddle loves all toys and often entertains himself with whichever one is closest at hand. He has especially enjoyed wand toys and the laser pointer.
Skedaddle is the newest foster kitten in the home and he quickly adjusted to hanging out with fellow foster kitten Felix. Circumstances dictated a rather quick introduction and Skedaddle was up for the challenge. They chase each other all over the house, conduct impromptu wrestling matches, spill water bowls, and groom each other.
Skedaddle also quickly adjusted to being around the older resident cats in his foster home. He enjoys interacting with the friendliest resident cat and he has mostly earned the trust of the other resident cats. He hasn't been too confrontational, which goes a long ways in making friends in a multi-cat household.
Skedaddle talks a little bit, but he's not super chatty.
Skedaddle has not been dog tested in his foster home.
Skedaddle has not been kid tested in his foster home.
Skedaddle is a litterbox pro.
Skedaddle has been pretty good about eating whatever food or treats that have been offered to him.
Skedaddle would love to be adopted with his fellow foster, Felix, but he should be OK with an unfamiliar cat as long as it is open to his energy level. He would probably do OK as an only cat too, but he will require a lot of attention and play time.

More about this rescue
The Bond Between is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on the bond between humans and animals. We were founded in 2009 as Secondhand Hounds. Since then, we have rescued over 29,000 dogs and cats with the help of thousands of fosters, volunteers, and supporters in our community. Our organization has grown from a rescue to a first-in-its-class animal wellbeing organization... now The Bond Between! We continue to provide safe shelter, proper veterinary care, and daily necessities for animals while working hard to help them build a bond with humans. We also focus on supporting the bonds that already exist between people and pets with our pet food shelf, respite foster care program, and focus on social services.
We wake up every morning saying YES to connecting people and animals, caring for them, and helping them fill each other’s hearts.
You can help support us today by donating, fostering, volunteering, or sharing The Bond Between.
