Meet Grandpa Cliff, the quintessential foster dog who has captured hearts with his gentle spirit. Despite the hardships he's faced, he radiates love and finds joy in simply sitting by his humans and bringing all his toys to his bed to lay by. On walks, he remains neutral around other dogs and cats. His favorite spot is right at your feet, where he loves to nap and keep you company.

Grandpa Cliff isn't picky when it comes to treats, he adores them all. And don't let his age fool you..he's a super chewer with a knack for conquering even the toughest bully toys. He enjoys taking short walks during the day (he's got achey bones)but prefers to stay cozy indoors when night falls. Grandpa Cliff is the embodiment of resilience and love, making him a truly special old guy.

1.
Submit Application

Interview

You will be contacted via email for an interview if we need to clarify any questions on your application as well as a pre-approval process.

3.
Meet the Pet

We will set up a meet and greet with all humans in the home and the pet you’re interested in, then a meet and greet with any resident dogs.

4.
Home Check

Next we will conduct a virtual or in person home check and reference check.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

After that you will sign our adoption contract, pay our adoption fee, and take your new family member home!

We respond to applications within 7-10 days. Dogs do not go home upon first meet and greet.

Go meet their pets

We have various meeting opportunities in person at local events in Northern California and Southern California. Soem dogs may or may not present, but dogs will never be allowed to be adopted at these events or sent home with anyone other than their fosters. An application and official meet and greet will always be required. We are a 501c3 dog rescue that focuses on bully breeds. Most of our dogs have had either behavioral marks against them or medical issues. Our mission is to Reform the Dog Agenda through intentional rescue & educating the community.
