With a "Woof Woof" here, and a "Woof Woof" there, Subwoofer is the life of any party. Obtaining five years of life under his belt, it doesn't look like he plans on slowing down any time soon! Subwoofer is a lovable pink nosed pitty, who craves life outside of the shelter. Strong and muscular, he greets everyone he meets with a wiggly body and a wagging tail. Subwoofer is undoubtedly a goofball, and would love to be apart of your family. Subwoofer would do well in an active home, where he can life his best extroverted life. Give us a call, or stop in and ask about Subwoofer!

More about this shelter
The South Suburban Humane Society is a 501(c )(3) organization that was started in 1970, serving the animal welfare needs of the entire south suburbs of Chicago. In the beginning, we handled all rescues, adoptions and provided foster care out of private homes. Since November 1973, our organization has been operating a 10,000 square foot open-door animal shelter in Chicago Heights, Illinois.
For over fifty years, our organization has helped tens of thousands of animals. We offer extensive outreach programs including humane education, and community outreach events. We also operate a resale shop located in Steger, Illinois that promotes our organization, our animals and provide much needed income to support our humane work.
The Mission of the South Suburban Humane Society is to protect and promote the well being of pets and their people in our community and beyond.
