Meet Elsie!

This sweet 3-year-old sheepadoodle recently aced her temperament test, showing just how intelligent and capable she is! While she has a protective side when it comes to her mom, we believe she would thrive as the only dog in a home where she can be the center of attention.

Due to her past behavior, we recommend that Elsie goes to an adult-only home without kids, where she'll have a strong and understanding owner who can guide her and help her feel secure. With the right leadership, we know this lovely girl will blossom into the best companion!

If your application is chosen and approved we will setup a meet and greet with the pet. You will hear back regardless if chosen or not.

We place the dogs in the best home not the first home. Please be patient while we go over all apps and we will be in touch.

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
