My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~~THIS IS A COURTESY POST. THIS DOG IS **NOT** IN THE CARE OF THE ALTERNATIVE HUMANE SOCIETY. PLEASE REACH OUT TO THE OWNER DIRECTLY AT hnddncr@aol.com    THANK YOU~~

Hi we are looking to find a good home for our dear 2 1/2 yo Rosie who we raised from a puppy.  She is a very sweet dog to our family, loving and very protective. She has always been kind with our grandchildren.

Rosie loves playing ball and would do it all day if you would play with her.  She is fine with visitors if we bring them in the house and have her meet them sitting in the living room, once she is familiar with them she will be kind with them.

Sadly, we must rehome Rosie because she has seriously attacked our chiweenie dog and we are afraid she will turn on our other 2 small dogs as well.  She is VERY protective, especially of our back fenced yard.  We can not let anyone she doesn't know come in the back yard without bringing her in the house first because she will nip and bite.  recently she bit someone who got too close to the fence.

We love her dearly and are heart broken to have to give her away or as a last result have to put her down, we are at our wits end, please if you know anyone who does not have other animals and can keep her and others safe please email us directly at hnddncr@aol.com.  We would need to have the adopters come to our home a few times to meet her and let her get to know them.  We would also want to to do a home visit.  Thank you in advance.
