My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable puppy is DELILAH, a 5-6 month old, Pomeranian/Cockapoo mix (DNA tested) weighing approximately 15 pounds. She loves to play fetch and romp around the yard or play chase with other playful dogs. Delilah has a lot of puppy energy so she needs an owner dedicated to exercising her, playing with her, and training her. She is currently enrolled in a puppy class and does some agility work as well.

Delilah is a friendly puppy and likes pretty much everyone. She would make a wonderful best friend to any teenager or tween because she loves kids! Delilah really enjoys laying in the sun in the yard as well as cuddling with her humans. She sleeps through the night in her fosters bed, and is crated when her foster parents leave the house. Because Delilah gets easily spooked on walks through the neighborhood, we are requiring a fenced-in-yard for her to safely get additional running and playing time. Delilah must have another dog in the home that is her size or larger with whom to play and exercise; she is very energetic and is a little too exuberant for smaller dogs.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: fenced yard, at least one other similar sized or larger dog in the home to play with Delilah, and enrollment in puppy/obedience training classes with certified dog trainer.

This puppy has been examined multiple times by licensed veterinarians, been provided age appropriate vaccinations, been dewormed, spayed, and microchipped. ADOPTION APPLICATIONS ARE BY WRITTEN REQUEST AT acaringplace@comcast.net. Our online application is not working.

More about this rescue

A Caring Place, is an All Breed Dog Rescue organization that is exclusively foster based (no facility) and is volunteer run. We rescue dogs and puppies from animal control facilities, dog pounds, and other shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia. In addition we take in dogs surrendered by their owners who can or are no longer willing to care for their dog. Each dog this rescue takes in receives all medical care and treatment necessary to be healthy, and then place them into loving temporary homes (foster homes) until adopted. Without our foster care provider's, we could not save these dogs.

FOSTER CARE PROVIDERS are always needed!
