Meet Jazz! An ex-sled dog with a personality as big and beautiful as his unique blue and brown eyes.

Jazz is noted by his foster family as a gentle soul who loves to play and explore. He is calm, friendly, and playful - making him the perfect companion for almost any household. Because of his calm demeanor, Jazz would make a great fit for families with children or other pets. Whether it’s a game of fetch in the backyard or a cozy nap on the couch, Jazz is always up for some quality time with his favourite humans. He nudges for cuddles from time to time, and is really starting to show his affectionate side.

Jazz gets along with almost everybody, including kids, cats, and even turtles! Jazz does well with female dogs and most of the time gets along with neutered male dogs, but can at times be selective, so a proper introduction with male dogs in the home will be important.

Jazz is a good lover! He thrives on a diet of raw food mixed with kibble, rice, and pumpkin. A raw egg and his dental sticks are the highlight of his day, and he has a special love for liver treats. Watch out for your croissants (and your socks!), though - Jazz has been known to steal them!

Jazz is crate trained, although it’s not his favorite place. He will nudge you or start pacing when he wants to be let out. He is able to be left on his own for a couple of hours with any concerns. He is also leash trained and gets very excited when he sees his harness and knows it’s time for a walk!

Jazz is in excellent health. He is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations. He has been well-cared for and is ready to bring joy and companionship to his new home.

Ideal Home notes from his loving foster family of nearly 7 months:

Jazz would thrive in a home where he can be part of the family activities. He needs a loving environment with plenty of opportunities for play and exercise. A family with children, other pets, or even a single person looking for a loyal companion would be perfect for him. Jazz is looking for a forever home where he can share his love and loyalty. A calm and patient household would be ideal to help him feel safe and secure. He would also enjoy having another furry friend to play with.
