My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MARY is one of a litter of 7 pups that were picked up running down a busy highway. she is a very sweet 3 month old, very playful puppy. She is up to date on shots and worming and has been spayed. She loves to play with her toys and siblings but when it's time she loves to cuddle up and take a nap. She is ready and waiting for her new, forever home and family. Do you have room in your home and heart for this sweet girl? Please consider adopting MARY

More about this shelter

ICARE is a non-profit organization dedicated to compassionate animal care and alleviating animal suffering. It was established in 2002 and quickly gained momentum, holding a significant public meeting in April 2003, featuring a guest speaker from the Humane Society of Independence County. This meeting led to the election of officers and a Board of Directors.

Today, ICARE operates entirely on the strength of volunteers. These dedicated individuals in Izard County work tirelessly to support the organization’s mission, providing care and relief to animals in need.
