End Zone was the shyest of the group on intake, but she has made so much progress. I can approach her and she no longer hisses and runs. Instead, she will stay and let me pet her. She has started to lean into my touch and purr. Endzone is more cautious than her foster mates. She likes to let one of her friends go first in a new situation unless it involves bird watching. She loves to watch birds and is happiest looking out a window. She also loves to play around with her foster mates but will take a little time to join in, just watching and taking it in at first. You can see in her eyes that she is ready to be open to trust and affection, she just needs a little more time and encouragement. Endzone enjoys running around in a tunnel and chasing her foster mates around. She has really connected with our 5 year old male cats; she follows them around and seemed to gain confidence learning from them. End Zone has recently moved to our EAPL Cat Adoption Center at Chow Down Pet Supplies in Bergan Park. Be sure to give all the cats some love when visiting. Complete a cat application on the rescue's website - www.eapl.com - once approved, you can take home the cat meant for you. (Don't let her hiss frighten you off - she's just setting her boundaries,)
