My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sadie came to rescue along with two senior friends after the death of her owner. She has been in foster since shortly after her arrival. According to her foster, she is great with other dogs and with her children, letting them love on her whenever they want. Shell play in the backyard and only bark when someone comes to the front door. She quickly settles down and go back to napping near her foster's feet. Although she hasnt gotten the hang of the dog door, theres been no accidents in the house. Shes great in her crate. Shes a good eater, but will only eat when locked in her crate.

She can do small walks, but needs to be worked up to longer ones. Shes great on a leash. Shes a little shy towards men, but with slow and unyielding affection put upon her, shes finally warmed up to my husband . Shes great with kids giving affection,, but wont seek them out for play. Sadie girl would be a perfect addition to any home.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is three-fold: submit an application, meet the pet, then arrange for us to do your in-home interview.
Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
Some special circumstances may change the fee; see pet's listing for actual adoption fee.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
