Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet McCoy!
What a ham this debonair fellow is; just bring out the camera and he starts rolling around posing. Move over Burt Reynolds! Life hasn't always been easy for McCoy. He was brought to us after living outside his whole life, 10 long years, as close as anyone can guess. That's the only life he'd known, so he was used to searching out food and shelter wherever he could find it. His life became imperiled when he went over to the property next to his normal stomping grounds, hoping for a handout. He was in fact fed by the renter there, but the landlord hated cats and threatened to shoot him. Unaware of the peril he was in, he kept coming back after scoring the free lunch. With the sword of Damocles hanging over his head, the renter brought McCoy to us in the hopes we could find him a safe, loving home.
Our best guess is that McCoy is about 10 years old. He's been neutered, wormed, vaccinated and is a good boy with his litter box. After his nomadic life, he's not exactly thrilled about being locked up with a bunch of cats he doesn't know. He'd be more than happy to be your one and only feline buddy, with no competition from other, obviously inferior, members of his species. He'll do just fine in a safe inside home; he's dodged way too many coyotes already, no need to push his luck any further. Personable and engaging, he enjoys hanging out with his special humans and is always interested in whatever is going on. He's surprisingly playful too, for an older guy, and amuses himself with various toys, something he's never had before. If you can give McCoy the happy home he's dreamed about all his life, please fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://pawsitiveoutreach.org/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. His adoption fee will be waived to the lucky family who promises to love him forever!
