Meet Oreo, a shining example of resilience and love!

Despite not receiving the care he deserved in the past, Oreo's sweet and beautiful personality has remained as strong as ever. He's currently on the mend from some neglect but is receiving the medical care he needs and will be as good as new.

Oreo is excellent with other dogs and cats, making him a perfect addition to a multi-pet home. His playful spirit might be a bit much for small children, so a home with kids 12 and up is ideal.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 foster-based rescue, which means we do not have a central building. Our rescue registration number with the State of NY is RR131. For logistical reasons, all of our foster homes are in Lewis and Jefferson Counties. If there is an animal you are interested in meeting, we ask you to first fill out the adoption application, which can be found in the main menu. You do not need to live in Lewis or Jefferson county to adopt; we do adopt out of state (and to Canada as well!)
