My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Feisty and affectionate, Rosie is a unique gem. She loves playing with toys - she`s a big fan of interactive wand toys and lasers – she will let you know when she is ready to play with a plaintive meow. She also enjoys playing by herself with small toys like catnip mice, and she is great at hunting spiders and other small critters. When her work is done, she enjoys a nap in a sunny spot or sitting in a window and watching the world outside.

Rosie enjoys attention on her own terms, but will react if she feels stressed or scared. She may jump into your lap for a visit, but only when she is ready. Looking to win Rosie over? Churus are her favorite.

Rosie is looking for a calm adults-only home with cat-savvy adopters who know how to read cat body language and respect boundaries. She has had several failed adoptions, and needs a family that is committed to working with over the long term to earn her trust and love.

Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
